One of the thing that interesting from the stories is how Chojamachi festival is begin and rolling out as one of the way to revitalizing the environment.
The next presentation is from Saleh Husein, who deliver this idea of SIKONTOLPANJANG, which is an abbreviation of SItuasi (Situation), KONdisi (COndition), TOLeransi (TOL), PANdangan (Outlook), and JANGkauan (Reach). This words had a naughty meaning in Indonesian slang, yet it is being used as a way to popularized the formal topic contained in it.
Saleh, a member of ruangrupa, was trying to deliver the issue of work in public space. By using that words, he try to explain several conditions that could be a tool to analyze public space. We use JAKARTA 32 CELCIUS, one of our program in Jakarta to be an example of this situations.
After the presentations, audience was giving a chance to comment or ask questions that related to the topics. It was a good time to discuss, since many people from varied background was came and join the class. There are some good questions that try to analyze our practices and its relation to Chojamachi area. Others was questioning about the school project and how it could deliver the ideas of sharing knowledge. By the end of the time, we invite the people to come back on the next class.
